How to Convert Valorant Sensitivity to Fortnite
Multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 8.164 to get your Fortnite sensitivity.
Valorant Sensitivity × 8.164 = Fortnite Sensitivity
Examples:
- Valorant 0.20 = Fortnite 1.633
- Valorant 0.30 = Fortnite 2.449
- Valorant 0.35 = Fortnite 2.857
- Valorant 0.40 = Fortnite 3.266
- Valorant 0.50 = Fortnite 4.082
- Valorant 0.75 = Fortnite 6.123
- Valorant 1.0 = Fortnite 8.164
- Valorant 2.0 = Fortnite 16.328
This formula comes from the fact that Valorant uses a yaw value of 0.07 degrees per count while Fortnite uses 0.5715 degrees per count. Dividing 0.5715 by 0.07 gives 8.164 — so to convert from Valorant to Fortnite you multiply by 8.164.

How the Conversion Works
Yaw Constants
Every game converts raw mouse input to camera degrees using a unique yaw value. We use developer-confirmed constants for all 10 supported games.
360° Distance
Your sensitivity × DPI determines counts per inch. Combined with yaw, we calculate the physical cm your mouse travels for a full 360° rotation.
Reverse Map
We reverse that cm/360° into the target game's formula — so your muscle memory transfers perfectly with zero aim retraining.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is eDPI and why does it matter?
eDPI (effective DPI) = your in-game sensitivity × your mouse DPI. It's the single number that truly represents your sensitivity, making it easy to compare settings across players regardless of DPI differences.
How do I convert CS2 sensitivity to Valorant?
Multiply your CS2 sensitivity by ~3.18 (the ratio of Valorant yaw 0.07 to CS2 yaw 0.022). Our converter does this automatically with full precision.
What is the best sensitivity for Valorant?
Most Valorant pros use an eDPI between 200–400. Lower eDPI (180–280) suits precise aiming; medium (280–400) works well for most roles. There's no universal "best" — consistency matters most.
Will my aim feel exactly the same after converting?
Yes — as long as both games use raw input and you don't change resolution or aspect ratio. The cm/360° value will be mathematically identical across both games.

Valorant Pro Player Sensitivities Converted to Fortnite
Curious what top Valorant pros would use in Fortnite? Here are their converted sensitivities:
- TenZ — Valorant: 0.408 at 800 DPI → Fortnite: 3.331
- Yay — Valorant: 0.35 at 800 DPI → Fortnite: 2.857
- Aspas — Valorant: 0.78 at 400 DPI → Fortnite: 6.368
- Derke — Valorant: 0.22 at 1600 DPI → Fortnite: 1.796
- Nats — Valorant: 0.48 at 800 DPI → Fortnite: 3.919
- Zekken — Valorant: 0.435 at 800 DPI → Fortnite: 3.551
These converted sensitivities are actually much lower than what most Fortnite pros actually use. Top Fortnite players like Bugha use 8.0 at 400 DPI while the converted Valorant pro sensitivities sit much lower. This makes sense because Valorant rewards slow, precise aim while Fortnite rewards fast building reactions and quick 180-degree turns.
Why Are Valorant and Fortnite Sensitivities So Different?
Valorant uses a yaw value of 0.07 degrees per count while Fortnite uses 0.5715 degrees per count. This means every single mouse count sends Fortnite rotating the camera more than eight times faster than Valorant does.
This is why a Valorant player using 0.35 sensitivity needs to use only 2.86 in Fortnite to get the same aim feel. The numbers look completely different on paper but the actual physical mouse movement is mathematically identical when converted correctly.
This also explains why players switching from Valorant to Fortnite often feel like their aim is extremely fast and uncontrollable at first. They try to use a similar number and end up with a sensitivity that is eight times too fast.

Tips for Switching from Valorant to Fortnite
Switching from Valorant to Fortnite is a significant adjustment even with a perfect sensitivity conversion. Here are the most important things to know:
The movement feels completely different.
Fortnite has building mechanics, sliding, and much more vertical movement than Valorant. The faster pace of the game may make your converted sensitivity feel slightly too slow for building fights. Give yourself at least two weeks before making any adjustments.
The game rewards higher sensitivity.
Many Valorant players find that going slightly higher than the exact conversion feels more comfortable in Fortnite. Try increasing your converted sensitivity by 10 to 15 percent and see if it feels better for fast building.
Spend time in Creative mode.
Fortnite has Creative mode with excellent aim training maps. Spend 10 to 15 minutes there every day for your first two weeks. Focus on tracking moving targets and practising fast 90-degree building turns.
Check your eDPI.
Use our converter above to calculate your eDPI after converting. Most competitive Fortnite players use an eDPI between 30,000 and 80,000 which is significantly higher than the typical Valorant pro eDPI of 280 to 400. If your converted eDPI is much lower than this range you may want to consider adjusting slightly upward.
Disable mouse acceleration.
Make sure Windows mouse acceleration is completely turned off. Go to Windows Settings, search for mouse settings, click additional mouse options, go to pointer options and uncheck enhance pointer precision.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Valorant sensitivity higher or lower than Fortnite?
Valorant sensitivity numbers are always much lower than Fortnite. A typical Valorant sensitivity of 0.35 equals about 2.86 in Fortnite because Fortnite uses a much larger yaw value of 0.5715 compared to Valorant yaw of 0.07.
What is the Valorant to Fortnite sensitivity multiplier?
Multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 8.164 to get Fortnite. Or divide your Fortnite sensitivity by 8.164 to get Valorant. The multiplier comes from the ratio of Fortnite yaw (0.5715) to Valorant yaw (0.07).
Why does my aim feel fast after converting from Valorant to Fortnite?
If your aim feels too fast after converting make sure you are multiplying by 8.164 and not dividing. Many players make the mistake of using the wrong formula direction which gives a sensitivity that is far too fast.
Will my aim transfer from Valorant to Fortnite?
Your raw mechanical aim from Valorant absolutely transfers to Fortnite. Good tracking and clicking skills work in any FPS game. The main adjustment is adapting to the building mechanics and the faster pace of Fortnite gameplay.
What DPI should I use switching from Valorant to Fortnite?
Keep the same DPI you use in Valorant. Only change the in-game sensitivity using the conversion formula above. Your eDPI will stay consistent and your muscle memory will transfer as smoothly as possible.
Should I use the same eDPI in both games?
Your cm/360° will be identical after a correct conversion but your eDPI numbers will look very different because each game uses a different yaw constant. Focus on matching your cm/360° value across games rather than trying to match eDPI numbers directly.
